‘Red Kite Swooping’

Red Kites may not have returned to Devon yet but hopefully these magnificent birds soon will.

This one was in Wales at Gigrin Farm and, although I didn’t realise it at the time, was also being filmed along with about a hundred more by the BBC Springwatch team.

    Thanks folks! By the way, I didn’t clip off the wing-tips – that’s only happened to fit the image into the format of the space for it here.

    And thanks Daniel, it’s definitely the eyes that make it for me.
